Still sitting in his seat in the restaurant, Myst had eaten about half of his burger when the pink-blonde entered again.

Saw that one coming...

She looked for her bag near the counter, while Mystalia was chewing, and, eventually, the girl traced her steps to his booth. Seeming not to notice him, the girl reached over Mystalia's lap and was about to retrieve her bag from the far side of his seat.

He caught her arm in his hand before she could do so.

Swallowing down his food, "Well. I see you're back.

"You in a rush? I take it you didn't have any luck chasing after that girl and the crooks, right?

"Do me a favor. Wait with me til I'm done with my burger.... I could use the company."

His eyes signaled for the girl to sit in the seat opposite him. He also let the girl's arm go at this point and produced her bag for her, so she didn't have to reach over him.

The Boss' voice erupted from the front seat as Magical Leaf plagued the car with rainbow leaves. At this point, the windows shattered, as glass as well as colourful leaves burst from the windows.

Boss, "Get that brat OUTTAA HERRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE."

The car swerved and, blinded, its driver ran it into the trunk of a tree just a few yards to the left of the paved, dirt path.

A couple on the path, dressed in jogging attire, looked in agony and dismay at the vehicle which was now spouting dark brown smoke from its hood; its front end smashed into the tree trunk.

The male of the couple opened up his mobile phone and started dialing away. The female looked worried, and unsure for a moment, before inching slowly toward the immobile vehicle.

"A-are you okay?" The young woman said, looking more frightened herself, than worried.

"Hold on, honey! I have the emergency vehicles on the line!" her male counterpart responded.

After taking her bag she didnt expect the male to notice her. She hugged her bag really tight not letting it go for a moment.

"Keep him company, he said." Thinking that for a moment. "He must be some ..." Observing him quickly, her expression felt weird towards him.

Looking at the food he ate, she then gave that sharp look of curiosity. "Mister, is it because that you broke up with that girl is that why you need company?" Stayed standing on that spot where she was, she just had to ask that question. From the looks of his clothing, and that facial look he gave her.

Mystalia listened to the girl, just staring at her for some time, while still sitting in his seat. His mouth was still slightly open after hearing her odd words.

Uh.... is she.... serious?

He gave her an odd glance, actually lost at words on how to respond... Eventually, finding his stomach again, he continued a few more bites of his burger before standing.

"Wait here.."

Going to the register, the male waited impatiently as he waited to receive his receipt. Paying his bill, he returned to his table's area, to stand next to the other girl, who had spoken in a very interesting manner towards him.

"Look. I'm going after those two guys now. I probably wasted enough time. You coming with?"

He looked at her for a short time; beginning to lose his patience with the people he had been meeting today.

He held out his hand to the girl, trying to keep himself calm, as, he looked as if as soon as the blonde answered, ye or nay, he would bolt off out of the restaurant.

"Well..?"

As the car crashed into the base of a tree, Claire crawls out of the crashed vehicle, still a Leafeon, and groans due to the major impact she experienced. She sees two people, who happen to be a couple, rush over to her and the crashed vehicle. The male of the couple opened up his mobile phone and started dialing away. The female looked worried, and unsure for a moment, before inching slowly toward the immobile vehicle.

"A-are you okay?" The young woman said, looking more frightened herself, than worried.

"Hold on, honey! I have the emergency vehicles on the line!" her male counterpart responded.

Claire drags herself out of the car and carefully stands up. She looks at the couple and sighs.

"If I were you two, I would call the police because those guys that are still unconscious, robbed a restaurant and kidnapped me."

A small burst of light is flashed out of her bag then dims out once more with Claire having her normal outfit and turning her back to normal. Starts walking down the road back to Gateon Port and walks past the couple.

She starts mumbling to herself. "And I haven't even registered yet. Just great. First I didn't get my food and then I got kidnapped. And to think I was looking forward to a good day...."

Her body aches and she keeps walking.

"She's coming back..." The words she said suddenly from out of now where, she covered her mouth suddenly not sure how she said it as if she knew. Removing it after she followed him outside. "She manage to defeat those men quickly." She said once more from her lips. "GAH! What am I saying?!" Shaking her head and slapping her face not too hard. She starts to get the chills as well even though there wasn't any cold wind that was encountered.

"Mister, you go on ahead I'll stay here I don't feel well for some reason. I'm very sorry." Taking a bow to the male, she hugged her bag really tight hoping that all of what she felt was just coincidence and nothing more.

Myst looked at the girl, after hearing her say some strange things and slap herself....

"Right.... Um.... you take care."

Jogging away from the girl with a little more unease than usual, he felt some small pity for the girl, assuming that she was a little more than empty in the head.

Down a block or so, and out of view, Mystalia disappeared into an alley.

"Right...." His voice was heard, though the walls outside of the alley blocked him from view.

A shiny-sounding....sound.. was heard.

Some moments later, some mix between a Zubat and Mystalia appeared.

Up, flying out of the alley, the hybrid bumped into one of the corners of the wall at the edge of the alley. Bouncing back from the wall, he fell onto a second-story part of a fire escape, then eventually, searching with his hands for the guardrail of the fire escape, he managed to jump off the rail and open his light-blue, purple wings again, only to have them open and hit the upper level of the fire escape above him, causing his wings to retract to his body again, where, he peeled over the second story escape's guardrail and into the alley below again.

He hit the ground with a solid thud.

@_@ appeared over Myst's eyes for so brief of a second that television audiences would question if it had ever truly happened, before a scene of Myst standing seemed to glitch into immediate display.

Mystalia had his own human legs, waist and torso; but he had an odd, open mouth with small teeth like a Zubat; also owning Zubat ears, and naturally the wings of the flying, bat Pokemon (light-blue on the inside, purple within).

Remembering to adapt to his /hearing/ Myst sent out a screech with his new mouth, to determine if any physical obstacles were blocking his flight path before journeying into the air on his search.

Eventually, Mystali-bat flew over Claire and where she was walking, injured, a small distance away from Gateon. Blind, the male did not know he was over here; though, his appearance would still apparently be noticeable to Claire, should she see him, as, his face and clothing were still the same.

Claire sees in a distance somewhat of a bat. "Is that a....Zubat?"

She takes a few running steps forward and yells out. "Hey! Hey!"

She waves her hand but realizes something and stops. She facepalms herself. "Right...Zubats are blind...Man I am not in my right mind today."

Blushes a little for forgetting the important key about Zubats.

Mystali-bat's ears picked up Claire's voice immediately.

"Hey! Girl! You okay?"

This is what Mystalibat thought he was saying.

In actuality....

"Raht raht," the odd form screeched weakly. Accidentally casting a weak version of Supersonic, the male bat-hume realized that he was unable to cast normal speech in this form.

Withdrawing the power from his gem, the male was surrounded in a flash of purple light, then was shown again in the air. His wings, bat-ears and Zubat-like mouth disappeared.

The male fell through the air and landed in a crouch.

His eyes adjusting to the light of day, he shrouded his face with his hand as he walked up to the girl.

"Hey! You're fine. What happened? Where are the two goons?"

The teenage girl, wasnt sure on what to do after that. The oziness from her head was gone. She looked at her bag for a bit and moved to the side to sit down on the ground and leaned on the wall, tied the strap that was cut back together.

"I shouldn't be careless again in losing you, if that happens I wont get to see them again." She mumbled to herself for a while. She was too tired to walk for a while and stayed sitting there until she can get some energy back. For some reason she starts to get really sleepy.

She closed her eyes for a moment and as time passes her body glowed in an unusual color, and her back falls down passing through the wall. She fell asleep and half of her body was completely missing from the other side.

Claire flinches a little from the weak supersonic from Mystalia and looks at him. She sighs, takes off her hat and puts it on him to help his eyes adjust to the sunlight.

"I'm fine and those two idiotic people are going to be arrested soon since I gave them a scare and lead them to a car accident."

She looks at him. "....You're the weirdest person I ever met."

Laughs a little and smiles. "Mystalia isn't it? Wanna be my partner on the tournaments around Orre?"

Mystalia blinked as the hat was set upon his head.

"Car accident?"

Staring at her for awhile, the male eventually took the hat off his head and handed it back to her. "Huh? What's with the sudden change of heart? Those goons make a replacement of you and you're simply the clone?" His voice was currently dull and dim; his eyes still blinking as he tried to discern her change in emotion.

"But then again, I suppose I did come on a little strong. Sorry.

"Like I said before, I talk too much."

She looks at him. "....You're the weirdest person I ever met."

She laughed a little and smiled. "Mystalia isn't it? Wanna be my partner on the tournaments around Orre?"

Blinking for a moment, the male eventually returned the grin. "Yep. Mystalia. And you're Claire, right?" He paused.

"Partners, huh?

"I've been meaning to enlist in one of the local tournaments.... Which ones did you have in mind? And... I'll consider your offer, sure. But it may be best for us to challenge each other first, one on one, to make sure we would be compatible as a team."

Claire smiles, takes the hat back, and puts it back on her head while adjusting it.

"Anywhere around Orre is fine and you're really confident about battling aren't ya?"

Another question comes in her mind that she should be aware about. "What types of gems do you have? You already saw two of my gems that are grass and steel types."

Confident... me?

"I wouldn't consider myself anymore confident than any other superiorly skilled trainer...

"Oh, right. In the nearest town I heard there's a tournament scheduled in exactly three weeks. It begins on a Friday.

"If you and I decide to team up, I think that would give us more than ample time to train."

Suddenly, the pink-blonde from the restaurant and her odd fit came to his remembrance. Shaking his head clear,

"Um... gems? Right. I tend to carry no more than three on me at a time.... for.... certain reasons." Reaching into his pockets, he produced two gems.

One had two colours, divided perfectly in a diagonal slant down the middle: light blue and purple; the other was pitch black.

"You saw Zubat earlier. And then there's a dark one as well." Still holding them out for a while for the girl to see, he looked from the crystals in his hand up to the girl's eyes. "In total, though, I have 14 that I use. But like I said, I don't carry too many on me.

"Hey.. Before we start training or anything else, do you mind if we head back to the pier? You had business there still, too, right?"

When Mystalia reminded Claire about the pier, she remembers with a bit of a shocking expression.

"Crud! My steak burger!"

She groans and puts her hand over her face a little while shaking her head. "I totally forgot that I ordered a meal over there...."

Slapping his stomach, "Nah, don't worry. It didn't go to waste. I ate yours too.

"But they put it on your tab. Anyways, can we head back there now?"

Should Claire agree, he would begin to walk with her towards the pier. If not, he would continue conversation with her at their present location.

Claire couldn't believe that Mystalia put a tab on her and he ated her meal.

"Why'd you eat mine?!"

She groans but sighs. "Yeah....let's go."

She starts walking down the road back to the pier. "Can't believe you ate my lunch..."

He shrugged. "You obviously weren't going to.... Being kidnapped, and all."

They arrived at the pier again.

Mystalia hoped the space-case blonde girl was alright. He wondered if they would see her.

She was still asleep and she stayed there for a while. By then the people were surrounding her watching her body at least half of it from the outside. It almost looked like a crime scene but there was no blood or what so ever.

As both Claire and Mystalia arrived at the pier of Gateon Port, a huge group of people caught their attention.

"What's going on over there?"

She looks at Mystalia with a bit of a confused expression and then starts walking towards the crowd. Claire gently pushes her way through the crowd.

"Excuse me. Sorry. Excuse me. Sorry for that. Coming through. Sorry ma'm."

As she goes through the crowd, she sees the girl she protected lying on the ground of the pier asleep. Claire looks at the girl and is somewhat a bit shocked of what she is seeing that the crowd is seeing.

"Uh...Mystalia! I think we need to get her out of here."

Mystalia stared ahead as Claire ventured into the midst of the people.

He stayed outside of the flock, still looking into the group of people, before looking around at their surroundings.

Some people were still moving about the pier, simply rubbernecking to look at the gathered group of people as they continued to their own destinations.

Others gathered to look at whatever Claire was probably getting a view of now.

Hands in his pockets, Myst was taking one last look around, and was about to start muscling his way into the breast of the crowd, when he spotted a familiar looking figure.

Coming from the direction he and Claire had used to enter the Port, there was a man with some shaggy, dirty-blonde hair and a prominent nose.

He was wearing a white, long-sleeve dress shirt and some casual black pants.

Mystalia was just taking his first step toward the crowd, when, instead his vision locked onto the male.

Where have I seen that guy before....?

"Uh...Mystalia!" Claire's voice emerged from the crowd. He was barely able to make out what she was saying. "I think we need...... out of here."

Double-minded, Mystalia looked from the crowd of people to the blonde man who was walking in their direction, but was eventually going to walk right past them and further down the port, according to the direction of his current gait.

Stalling, "Ehh. Fine."

Mystalia ventured into the crowd, moving people out of the way with his arms, while being pushed and shoved here and there himself.

Eventually, he came into the middle of the formation.

His eyes opened wide.

It was the girl from before, knocked out.

Kneeling, he picked up the girl and tried to turn around to exit the group of people the same way he had came from.

Trying to use his foot to deliver waist-height spartan-esque kicks, the male made his way through the crowd, though not really injuring anyone at all.

"Hey! Kid! What do you think you're doing?? Leave her alone!!!!" Some people in the crowd started. Suffering some mild beatings on his back, and a few mis-aimed, yet effective punches to the sides and back of his neck (from men who were not close enough in the crowd to actually pursue him), the male nodded his head to Claire, beckoning her to follow him out of the crowd.

Eventually surfacing, the crowd of people looked at Mystalia, who was still holding the girl in the school uniform in his arms, with turned heads and disdained looks.

However, thankfully, no heroes arose from the men of the crowd to vouch for the girl's safety, and, eventually, the crowd dissipated and Mystalia was able to sit the pink-blonde on a bench across the street.

When he stood to his full height, after relieving himself of her, the male looked for the shaggy-haired, scrawny man from before.

Scanning the pier, he was no where to be found.

Claire tried to cover Mystalia from the crowd beating him. She sees one of the men in about the give a wide punch. Her pupils dilated a little and she hisses a bit. The man staggers from what Claire did and it eventually caught the crowd's attention to leave the them alone. The crowd then gets away from them. As they got out of the crowd and towards a bench across the street where Mystalia took the girl. As he put the girl on the bench, Claire looks at her carefully.

"Hey.....Hey wake up."

Claire shakes her shoulder gently trying to wake the girl up.

After making sure their surroundings seemed safe, the male turned his own attention to the girl on the bench.

/Looks like she's fourteen....

Then for the first time he looked at Claire, wondering what her age was.

It was at this point that Myst realized just how little he knew about both of these two girls, and, yet, he seemed to currently be very involved with them.

Checking the girl's face and arms and legs for bruises, the girl didn't seem to be physically harmed.

Must be mental... he thought, recalling her odd mannerisms before he left her last time.

She heard voices loud enough to wake her up. She sat down in a hurry finding herself in a different location that she was before. After that whole commotion that was going on and she was carried out of the scene. Her head still hurts a bit and tried to fix herself.

"I just slept did i?"

Blinking quietly, "Eh? You okay?" he asked the girl who recently revived.
